MSDS

STC/MS™ Material Safety Data Sheets
Carolina Biological Supply Company wants every STC/MS learning activity to be safe for students, teachers, and the environment. To help teachers determine the safety procedures that should be implemented for science class, Carolina provides additional information resources about chemicals used in the STC/MS modules and how those chemicals may be disposed of afterward. Each STC/MS Teacher’s Guide includes Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) that describe the basic hazards of a material and explain how the material can be safely handled, used, and stored.

The MSDS were prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the federal OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Hazard Communication Standard and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The information in each MSDS is consistent with federal, state, and international health, environmental, and safety laws or regulations.

Carolina believes that supplying MSDS for products used in STC/MS modules will enhance the safety awareness of teachers in the classroom. Teachers should review the MSDS included with their Teacher’s Guide and keep them on hand in case of emergency and to satisfy any federal, state, or local regulations. If you have questions regarding any MSDS, contact the health and safety professional for your institution or call us toll free at 800-227-1150.

You can download additional copies of any MSDS and photocopy it as needed. If you do not already have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed, you will need it to download, view, or print these files.
