Teaching tip: Measuring Time
Stunning images from the Red Planet were frequent news items earlier this year, after the successful landing of NASA’s Mars rovers Spirit and Opportunity. This provides a great current-events connection to the STC® Measuring Time unit.

Product spotlight: The Butterfly
Two STC® and STC/MS™ life science modules use butterflies to help students learn about living things. For classroom resources and background information that can extend student explorations during Organisms—From Macro to Micro or The Life Cycle of Butterflies, visit Carolina’s new The World of Butterflies™ page.
