Try the Carolina
Curriculum Pilot
Program |
 |
What’s the best way to
learn about STC®,
Building Blocks of Science™, Math Out of the Box®,
or GEMS Kits®? Pilot a unit in your school or
district!
Here’s how it works:
|
|
You select a unit
kit(s) to try out in the classroom. You can
pilot-teach up to 6 units—one title per grade
level—from the STC®,
Building Blocks of Science™, Math Out of the Box®, or GEMS Kits® series. (To include more
faculty in your pilot, purchase refurbishment sets
for each kit and replace the consumed materials
before passing the kit to the next teacher.) |
|
|
You choose a lead
teacher(s) to pilot the units; these educators
then become your future trainers. After you choose
a unit and sign our pilot agreement, a date to
ship the kit(s) and a date for the pilot to end are
determined. |
|
|
Carolina ships
the selected unit kit(s) to your school/district.
Each kit provides the equipment and materials
needed (except for a few items commonly found at
home or school) for 4–8 weeks of instruction
with one class of 30 students (32 students for
GEMS Kits®). |
|
|
At the end of the
pilot, you can purchase one of the unit kits for 10%
off the catalog price! If you choose not to
purchase, simply ship back to Carolina Biological
the non-consumable portion of the kit(s). (You pay
the return shipping charge.) |
What do you get in
