The
National
Science Resources Center (NSRC) was formed by the
Smithsonian Institution and the
National Academies in 1985. The National Science Resources Center’s mission is to improve the learning and teaching of science in school districts in the United States and throughout the world. Through its parent institutions, the NSRC has actively engaged the scientific, engineering, and education communities in all of its programs.

programs –Science and Technology for Children® (STC) and Science and
Technology Concepts for Middle Schools™ (STC/MS). The NSRC worked
closely with Carolina Biological Supply Company in selecting and
designing materials that meet the performance and durability
requirements for each STC unit and each STC/MS module. |
