Measuring Time Materials Change
The Measuring Time unit kit includes a number of building pieces that students use during Lesson 13 to construct a clock escapement. In October 2004, the formerly plastic pieces (rods, posts, wheels, etc.) were replaced with wood components. In addition, the clock escapement itself was slightly redesigned, requiring some changes in the parts provided for construction. These materials changes are detailed in the Measuring Time Errata Sheet Set, which can be downloaded below.
