What's new:
Using live organisms during hands-on instruction greatly enhances
student learning. But with the organisms come additional concerns
and responsibilities for the teacher. That’s why Carolina has
created a new, free publication, Living Materials Care and
Handling Guide, to help make your living materials encounter a
successful one.
The details
Carolina strongly recommends preservice training before teachers use
an STC® unit for the first time in the classroom. Both the NSRC and
Carolina can provide this type of professional development, but for
schools or districts that wish to do their own, Carolina now offers
free training outlines.
