The soft-cover manuals have changed to sturdy 3-ring binders with 8, easy-to-use, tabbed sections. The guides are filled with even more helpful information, including extended guidelines for integrating writing with science, more assessment resources, and expanded safety and materials management information. New reading component. In response to customer requests, each STC® unit now includes a research-based literacy component to help teachers integrate reading with science. The Science and Technology for Children BOOKS™ series provides high-interest science stories that vary in reading level. Use these engaging books by themselves or to extend STC® unit investigations.
