Tree seedling

Moss

Procedure
The tree seedlings and moss will arrive together. The seedlings will be in plastic planter cups and wrapped in moist paper. The moss will come in 4 plastic containers.

When the plants arrive, open the packaging enough to give the plants air. Keep the soil around the seedling moist but not wet, and mist the whole moss mat. Store the plants in indirect light.

When the tree seedlings get too tall for the terraria, you can keep them in your class for an extended period of time by transplanting them into 15- to 20-cm (6- to 8-in) pots. Consult with a nursery about caring for the seedlings.
