Procedure
Prepare the holding tanks by adding a 1" layer of damp woodland soil
to the bottom of each. Then place some leaf matter and a piece of bark for
a hiding place into each tank. After you have prepared the holding tanks, tip
the isopods into them. Add a slice of potato to each tank for food.
Isopods are very easy to keep. Check the
tanks daily to make sure the surface of the soil is damp. Dampen it with a
water mister if necessary. Remove and replace any moldy food.
