Living Materials Information 

Elodea and cabomba
(elodea: can be Elodea canadensis or Elodea densa, also known as Egeria densa and Anacharis densa; cabomba: Cabomba caroliniana)

Materials
2 holding pails filled with conditioned water

Procedure
Elodea and cabomba are easy to maintain. Open the shipping container immediately upon arrival and place the elodea in one pail and the cabomba in the other. Place the uncovered holding pails in an area that gets bright light.

Management tip: After Lesson 5, replenish the holding pails with conditioned water for the snails in Lesson 7 and then again for the guppies in Lesson 8. Also, keep one or 2 sprigs of elodea for the snail and guppy holding pails.
